Why is Reduce The Stigma holding a raffle and free giveaway?
When you’re on a mission to bust stigma like we are, you’re not going to be the type of people who mislead or play with nuances. We’re going to tell it to you exactly as it is, cause that’s who we are. We’re honest and focused on doing everything we can to spread awareness, acceptance, and understanding.
Running a website and podcast isn’t cheap and can take a while before you break even (if ever), let alone make a profit. But you probably already knew that. We decided to take on this adventure anyway because we’re tired of myths, misunderstandings, discrimination and judgment getting in the way of people living their best lives.
We’re going to keep building Reduce The Stigma, delivering FREE content, and doing whatever we can to raise up the voices that are silenced or disenfranchised. And we need your help.
So here’s our plan –
First, we need as many people as we can get to sign up for our newsletter, create accounts, add content, and watch videos and listen to the podcast. But we don’t like the idea of just asking people to do that without a way to say thanks. That’s why we’re running a raffle with 5 different prizes for a total of 47 winners.
Why do we need you to do these things? Because to get the attention of the right people who can help cover the costs through sponsorships and ads, we need to show that there’s A LOT of people who care. We already know you all exist, we just need to be able to demonstrate to those skeptics just how important this mission is and how many people support it.
Then, we’re going to launch a crowdfunding campaign to help us cover the costs of reducethestigma.com and the podcast.
And if you’re someone who wants to help us out but aren’t interested in the prizes, the best thing you can do is sign up for our newsletter and spread the word.
However you choose to support us, we appreciate it. We appreciate YOU.
Thank you,
Whitney, Jonathan and Mo
